WYWA WATER AWARENESS PROGRAM |
| |
| |
What is Water Awareness program? |
| |
| |
Water is an important aspect of life. We can live without food but not without water. Water is Blue Gold. It’s high time that we realize the importance of water. Youth are the inheritors of the Earth. WYWA believes that the children and youth need to be aware of the local, national and global issues related to water. This program is to increase awareness and understanding of water issues and to explore their role and responsibilities to finding solutions. |
| |
| |
This is a very easy and simple education program. We mainly use films and photographs on various issues related to water to start a discussion and dialogue among the peers. It’s more than an awareness program since we want then children and youth to also find possible solutions to the different water crisis situation and to encourage them to do their bit in bringing a change. |
| |
| |
WYWA encourages a student of a school, college or university to take leadership and help us host this program through an eco-club or any social body in their institution. Most institutions own an LCD projector and a good sound system and if they don’t they can borrow or lend from another institution for such an educational purpose. |
